Happy New Year 2017! We made it to see another year, y’all – all the glory to God! 🙂

It’s always a blessing to receive more time on this precious Earth. Each day presents a new opportunity to achieve the impossible. Having the correct mindset is the ultimate game changer, especially at the beginning of the year. The objective of the game is to position oneself for success in every aspect of life. The happier one becomes, the more powerful one possesses the ability to motivate and inspire oneself and others.

I always loved the month of January because everyone is so optimistic and hopeful…it’s awesome! However, by the end of January, some people have already given up on the entire year, without giving it a second chance. That’s not right! I get it – not everything will go your way in 2017. Same goes for myself. But I’m not going to let that stop me from believing that 2017 will be the GREATEST year of my life so far (and you shouldn’t either).  In order for us to progress in life, we have to want MORE for ourselves and our current situations (family/friends/career/etc).

The biggest obstacle most people face is making the decision to live at their own pace unapologetically. Since most of us have real-life duties and responsibilities, we think living for ourselves is selfish and unrealistic. Well, I’m here to tell you that’s not 100% true. Totally living your life without any regard for anyone else but yourself? That would be selfish. Living your life with an intention to benefit yourself and others? That’s not selfish – I think it’s positive.

My personal goal in 2017 is to continue to grow and walk in the light of God as I motivate & influence others to achieve greatness daily. I feel that God has called me to step up to the plate and help build something special with people who share the same beliefs as I do. In order to accomplish this task, being consistent and having FAITH is key.

So, what’s your personal goal for 2017? Do you need help creating one? If so, I have an idea. Check out my latest Huffington Post article – I think it might help. Please click HERE for more info!
